The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in Milwaukee, WI is searching for vendors with the capability to provide Campus Shuttle services at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center, 5000 West National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53295. Services will be required Monday Friday 5:30 AM 7:30 PM; Sundays from 7:30 AM Noon; and for any other special events taking place on the campus. All contractor personnel performing service under this contract will be subject to background checks. Contractor will be required to provide a minimum of four (4) shuttle buses of which a minimum of three (3) will be wheelchair and handicap accessible with at least one (1) of the three (3) having a ramp in lieu of a lift for transporting scooters and motorized wheelchairs. Two (2) of the buses will have fourteen (14) rider capacity; two (2) of the buses will have an eighteen (18) to twenty-four (24) rider capacity. Estimated riders per day is 370. VA will not provide power outlets for Contractor equipment. Contractor shall provide all equipment (to include traffic cones and other incidental supplies required for traffic flow management), material, labor, and supervision to perform this service. All interested, responsible sources must submit a brief summary of their capabilities to this office by 11:59 PM Wednesday May 6, 2020 to include detailed description of the firm s experience in providing this service, DUNS number, name and phone number of a point of contact in case further information is needed. Summaries must be submitted via email to susan.pasholk@va.gov. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes to determine availability of qualified vendors and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. The procurement will be competed under NAICS 485999. Please note that this is not a request for proposal and the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents.
