The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Illinois City: Chicago Delineated Area: North Boundary: South side of W. Jackson Blvd. South Boundary: North side of W. Polk St. East Boundary: West side of S. Damen Ave. West Boundary: East side of S. Western Ave. Maximum Rentable Sq. Ft.: 11,999 Maximum Usable Sq. Ft. 9,999 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 40-45 Full Term: 10 Years Firm Term: 10 Years Govt. Termination Rights: 90 days notice after firm term Current lease expires: 06/30/2020 Occupancy Required By: 06/30/2020 The Government is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise the Government intends to pursue a sole source acquisition. The Government will consider the cost of moving, alterations, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. Space must be handicapped accessible, (ADA compliant), with a minimum of 40-45 parking spaces for the exclusive use of the Government and its customers. Offerors are responsible for any costs associated with providing proposals to the Government.
