The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Wisconsin City: Madison Delineated Area: North Boundary: North side of 1 Science Court South Boundary: South side of 1 Science Drive East Boundary: East side of 1 Science Court West Boundary: West side of 1 Science Drive Maximum Rentable Sq. Ft.: 10,342 Maximum Usable Sq. Ft. 9,234 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 55 Full Term: 10 Years Firm Term: 5 Years Govt. Termination Rights: 90 days’ notice after firm term Current lease expires: 11/30/2020 Occupancy Required By: 12/01/2020 The Government is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise the Government intends to pursue a sole source acquisition. The Government will consider the cost of moving, alterations, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. Space must be handicapped accessible, (ADA compliant), with a minimum of 55 parking spaces for the exclusive use of the Government and its customers.
