The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to issue Solicitation 36C25220R0023 for Special Mode Transportation Services to the beneficiaries of the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI residing in eastern, southeastern, northeastern, south central, north central and central Wisconsin. Transports may periodically be required in all of Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, eastern Minnesota, and northern Illinois. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or around June 8, 2020. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel and equipment to provide for twenty-four (24) hour 7 day a week wheelchair van and sedan transportation services. Approximately 70% of the transports will occur within Milwaukee County. The VA intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price contract for a five-year ordering period. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 485991. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside.
