The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC), has a requirement for Autopsy Assistant Services for the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital (Hines, IL) and the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (Chicago, IL). The purpose of this solicitation is for contractors to provide autopsy assistant services to anatomic pathologists and pathology residents for full and partial autopsies on an as-needed basis. All work will be performed at the VA facilities. Contractor must be able to provide autopsy assistants seven days a week, 365 days a year. If an autopsy must be performed on the date of the death, the contractor shall provide an autopsy assistant within two hours after verbal notification. The period of performance will be for a five-year ordering period. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to submit a quote. Offerors are reminded to complete registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) system, including Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The electronic version of solicitation will be available on or about July 16, 2020. Any amendments to this solicitation will also be available at https://beta.sam.gov/. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining any amendments which are to be submitted with your response.
