This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of companies that can perform the following: The Hines VA Hospital (located in Hines, IL) would like to procure an Ovid Online Database subscription for the Hines VA Hospital. Please respond if you can provide the products with the following general specifications: OVID Subscription That 1) has access to numerous databases which include but are not limited to PubMed, DARE, Cochrane, EMBASE, ACCP Journal Club and CCR (these databases are searched to define medical literature in specific content areas); 2) contains the majority of medical journals accessed by PBM staff in the following topic areas; diabetes, infectious diseases, cardiology, neurology, primary care, pharmacoeconomics, drug safety, oncology, immunology, dermatology and general medicine topics; 3) has journals available that are not limited to single publishing houses; 4) has no 6-12 month embargo on access to articles and; 5) has the ability to download citation information directly into a reference manager system. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation currently exists. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender.
