Notice of Intent to Sole-Source an Acquisition Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. § 3304(a)(1), FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), and VAAR 819.7007, the Government anticipates entering into sole-source procurement negotiations with TrillaMed, LLC, an SDVOSB, for TempTrak maintenance at the following VA medical facilities: Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, 5000 South 5th Avenue, Hines, Illinois 60141; Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, 820 South Damen Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60612; Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 West National Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53295; and Tomah VA Medical Center, 500 East Veterans Street, Tomah, Wisconsin 54660. Per the Original Equipment Manufacturer ( OEM ) of TempTrak, Cooper-Atkins Corporation, TrillaMed, LLC is the only authorized SDVOSB service provider. The above-cited authority and associated justification is made based on the determination that there is only one SDVOSB reasonably available to provide TempTrak maintenance services, and therefore, it is in the best interest of the Government to enter into sole source negotiations with TrillaMed, LLC. Any other business or person may identify their interest and capability in fulfilling this requirement by responding to this Notice by e-mail to Robert.Knight1@va.gov no later than 11:59 p.m. local time, Friday, February 28, 2020. Pursuant to FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), this Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals; however, all communications received by the deadline will be considered by the Government. Information received as a result of this Notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation document is available at this time.
