This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of Service-Disabled Small Businesses and Small Businesses that can perform the following: The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center (located in Iron Mountain, MI) has a need to contract with a Lean Education Courses vendor. The Vendor will be needed January 21-23, 2020 at the Iron Mountain VA Hospital Services include: The vendor must conduct at least the following for a MAX of 30 persons: (3) 3-day Lean Yellow Belt Training Sessions in Iron Mountain, MI to be held at Bay College, Fornetti Room or alternative location January, 2020. The vendor must conduct at least the following for a Max of 25 Grading of a maximum of the resulting A3s over the course of the 1 year after the completion of the Yellow Belt training scheduled. Lean coaching/training for staff. Coaching, mentoring, of Systems Redesign staff and supervisors; If required participation in the selection of RPIWS to engage the work force and transform Iron Mountain VAMC to a true Lean organization. The following deliverables are also required: Promote a Culture of Continuous Improvement. Train and prepare staff for Lean project participation. Train and prepare staff for 9-box A3 completion. Train and prepare staff for TMS Certification. Enhance Communication across Service Lines (Providers, Nurses, SW, MSA, Technicians, etc.) Team Building The trainings and projects will take place in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Grade Yellow Belt A3s Expected Outcomes: This training will help Iron Mountain VAMC identify waste and methods to eliminate it. Identify strong Partnerships and/or Working Relationships: this may include both VHA and non-VHA partnerships to maximize the efficacy of the intervention. outlining the utilization of RPIWs for improvement brings multiple services to the table to discuss barriers and help each other identify root causes and processes to remove those barriers The contractor is expected to report and track core measures. Core measures include but are not limited to the following: Number of Staff trained Number of Staff Certified This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation currently exists. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender.
