Overview: This contract is for implementation and connectivity maintenance of a medical data management system that will provide for Point-of-Care ( POC ) connectivity to Veterans Health Administration ( VHA ) electronic medical records by transmitting patient test results via middleware utilizing a bi-directional HL7 interface to the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture ( VistA ) and the Computerized Patient Record System ( CPRS ) for all medical facilities within Veterans Integrated Service Network ( VISN ) 12. This contract will be implemented in two phases over a Base Year and four Option Years (FAR 52.217-9): Phase I Implementation (CLINs 0001-0007): The necessary hardware and software will be installed and configured, with relevant training provided to all users. The Go-Live date for all POC middleware is March 26, 2020. Phase II Connectivity Maintenance (CLINs 0008-4007): POC connectivity will be maintained and available 24/7/365 through regular and emergency repair, software upgrades when commercially available, and additional training as applicable.
