PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete Project 607-19-107 Replace Electrical Building 18 at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison, WI. This project involves approximately 1089 SF of new space to be located adjacent to the main hospital Building 1. The project scope includes all necessary general construction, site work, underground utilities, electrical systems, structural, mechanical and fire protection systems, architectural and all equipment and distribution systems necessary to support the construction of the new Building 18. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Contact Opportunities. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a (1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001 (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VIP CVE-VetBiz database at:Â https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/Â Â The solicitation will be issued on or about 19 August 2020 with the bid opening on or about 18 September 2020. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from Contact Opportunities which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $39.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 425 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
