Furnish project management, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision that construction documents, drawings, and specifications require to complete Project 695-19-114, “Upgrade Plumbing for Legionella Prevention,” Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee WI. This project will take place in Building 123 and Building 111. In Building 123: cross connected domestic water lines and dead legs identified shall be removed to the active mains, recirculation lines shall be installed with a balance valve added at each recirculation branch, thermostatic mixing valves shall be added to fixtures, and water quality monitoring stations shall be provided for A, B, C, and D wing. Asbestos abatement and limited architectural patching will be required in Building 123. In Building 111: Improved recirculation lines and risers shall be installed with balance valve added at each recirculation branch, identified underutilized fixtures and dead legs shall be removed, and thermostatic mixing valves shall be added to fixtures. Asbestos abatement and limited architectural patching will be required in Building 111.

Zablocki VA Medical Center has a requirement to perform an Upgrade to Plumbing for Legionella Prevention on the campus of the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. The work involves, but is not limited to, infection control, plumbing, and demolition in order to Upgrade to Plumbing for Legionella Prevention on the campus of the Milwaukee VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. The project magnitude price range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 with a size standard $36.5 million applies. The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of seven hundred and forty (740) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) will be posted to FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/) on or about May 14, 2020. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for June 16, 2020. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through shall be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation.
