Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C252-20-B-0005 Project: Doors Security Corrections Project Number: 537-19-904 Location: Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois The Jesse Brown VA Medical Center has a requirement to replace/remodel doors to comply and provide fully functional locking security corrections to numerous doors. Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, qualified supervision, and other items designated in this contract in accordance with the floor plans and pictures/descriptions to complete Project # 537-19-904: Doors Security Corrections at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center located at 820 S. Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60612. This project shall include installation and programming of PIV card readers, motion sensors, timer delays, intercoms, and remote door releases for various doors. Compatible systems for the doors include; Best® 7-pin, F keyway, and interchangeable core. Floor Plans / Door Locations and Descriptions will be provided with solicitation. The project magnitude price range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $39.5 Million. The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of one hundred forty-five (145) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and floor plans) is scheduled be posted to FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/) on or about November 5, 2019. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for December 5, 2019. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation.
