The Tractor needs to be an all-wheel drive tractor with a dump body and a salt spreader. It is to be used during snow removal operations on sidewalks and in parking lot spaces where trucks and larger equipment can t access. The Riding Mowers must be 2 commercial Grade Zero Turn riding mowers. Minimum specifications are for a 60-inch deck, 33 horsepower engine, and Hydro gear trans-axles. Required to have air ride suspension seat, Roll Over Protection System, Constant Belt Tensioning System and Easy Lift Deck System. The Utility Machine is to be used for salting sidewalks, and areas of parking lots hard to get to. This machine is also needed to transport groundskeeping materials such as dirt/mulch and smaller equipment. The Hines VA Medical Center will be using attachments for plowing snow and loading materials. The Hines VA Medical Center has determined that the salient characteristics noted above meet the Governments needs. This equipment is needed to allow the Hines VA Medical Center Environmental employees to respond quickly and adequately to weather, emergencies and overall maintenance of the Medical Center.
