The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in Milwaukee, WI is searching for vendors with the capability to provide Medical Gas System Testing and Inspection services at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, 325 E. H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. Service is needed to fulfil NFPA 99 Code requirements for Medical Gas and Vacuum System inspection, testing and maintenance. All testing and inspection procedures of NFPA 99 shall be followed for a Category 1 system outlined in Chapter 5 Gas and Vacuum Systems . All testing and inspection procedures of NFPA 99 shall be followed for a Category 3 system outlined in Chapter 15 Dental Gas and Vacuum Systems for dental vacuum covered under this contract. The most recent edition of NFPA at the time of this contract is the 2018 edition. (The VA s Authority Having Jurisdiction automatically adopts the most recent NFPA code.) All interested, responsible sources must submit a brief summary of their capabilities to this office by Noon Central on Monday, May 13, 2019 to include detailed description of the firm s experience in providing this service, DUNS number, name and phone number of a point of contact in case further information is needed. Summaries must be submitted via email to susan.pasholk @va.gov. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes to determine availability of qualified vendors and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. The procurement will be competed under NACIS 811219. Please note that this is not a request for proposal and the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents.
