This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purposes of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing). The VA Illiana Healthcare System has a requirement for twenty-five (25) ProCair ES2 Control Units, Item # PMP-ES2, Manufactured by JOERNS. This is a Brand Name Only procurement as only this specific control unit is compatible with the existing bariatric beds that are currently in service at the Illiana VAH. The statutory authority for Brand Name Only other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1(c)(1). Interested firms that can meet the requirements stated above should respond in writing and include at a minimum, ALL of the following information: Company name: Address: Point of contact (name/title/telephone number/e-mail address).
