THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY The purpose of this notice is to obtain information on VA, Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) VERIFIED -- Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) interests, capabilities, and qualifications to determine if a set-aside is appropriate. Responses to this sources-sought announcement will be used by the Government to make an appropriate decision. Proposals are NOT being requested or accepted at this time.  The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, requests letters of interest (REPLY TO Lynn.VanderVelde@va.gov)  from SDVOSB and VOSB contractors interested in performing construction work at the Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center, 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI. This project will use NAICS code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and AC; size standard $15.0 million. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $2,00,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.  Project Description: Project requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and insurance to Upgrade Heat Exchangers and Replace Perimeter Heat in the basement and 3rd floor of the hospital. Period of Performance is 300 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. Work is anticipated to be performed primarily in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Interested sources shall submit the following: 1. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number, and business status. 2. Indicate the primary nature of your business, any teaming agreements or arrangements, self- performance and intentions of subcontracting program, including Set-Asides; 3. Documentation relating to capability of performance. Provide two (2) examples of projects similar in scope, complexity, and cost magnitude of project description above. 4. Letter from the surety regarding the maximum bonding capability for a single contract action as well as the total aggregate bonding capacity. Total submittal shall be no longer than (12) twelve pages in one .pdf file or word document.
