The VA seeks an independent third-party Commissioning Agent to provide comprehensive commissioning services for a project upgrading or replacing all 21 elevators and elevator components as needed at its main Cincinnati campus and the Ft. Thomas campus; asbestos and lead-based paint abatement is included if necessary. Evaluation will consider professional qualifications, specialized experience and technical competence (including energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, and recovered materials use), capacity to meet the required schedule, past performance on cost/quality/schedule compliance, local-area location and knowledge, and commitment to using service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, and other small businesses as subcontractors.
