Services are required at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202, and at 9045 East 59th Street, Building 402, Indianapolis, IN 46216. The contractor will maintain five kitchen fire suppression systems and five Kidde IND-21 Hazmat dry chemical systems, clean five kitchen exhaust hoods, and maintain the Building 402 grease trap. Recurring work includes monthly inspections of all ten systems, semiannual maintenance and service certification, annual maintenance tasks, and quarterly exhaust inspections/cleaning plus quarterly grease-trap inspection, pump-out, and cleaning. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, transportation, tools, access equipment, routine maintenance materials, cleaning supplies, waste handling, testing, service labels, and documentation. The prime contractor remains responsible for subcontracted work and must submit separate identifiable records directly to the COR for kitchen cleaning, fire suppression maintenance/monthly inspections, and grease-trap service.
