J061--Sources Sought Emergency Switchgear Repairs 539
The Cincinnati VA Medical Center (VAMC) requires repairs to emergency generators and associated paralleling switchgear to restore full emergency backup power in the generator and electrical rooms at its Cincinnati facility. The scope includes replacing/upgrading MFR13 and reverse power relays, programming, door/wiring modifications, updating ABB drawings, testing both 1500 kW generators with a 125% load bank, and verifying paralleling and load-shed functionality. Generator work must occur on two separate weekends with prior VA coordination, and the overall period of performance is 90 calendar days including equipment/material lead time; delivery schedule is TBD. The contractor must maintain generator availability and switchgear room security throughout and provide a one-year warranty on materials and labor. This is a sources-sought market-research notice only, so interested firms should provide capability information rather than a proposal.
