This amendment provides facility responses to vendor questions. The 0.2 micron filter cartridges are for bacterial removal from water and must be compatible with the housing provided under CLIN 0003, while tank vent cartridges are maintained separately and are out of scope. Return flow for the 60-gallon and 160-gallon storage tank loops is constrained by a 3 gpm flow control device, pumps are pressure-sensing variable flow, and both flow control and pumps are out of scope; the UV is sized for peak demand. Pumps are not in scope, and no list of existing retained equipment is available. The distribution loop is an existing loop being modified, with mixed CPVC and polypropylene materials, approximately 240 LF, and mixed 1-inch and 1-1/2-inch sizes.
