The government is conducting market research via a Sources Sought notice to determine an acquisition strategy for the annual inspection and testing of 18 Cookson Firefly release devices and drop doors, which are critical fire safety components. Work will be performed at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, Ohio, and Fisher House at 10521 Lee Ave., Cleveland, Ohio. The period of performance includes a base year from December 1, 2026 to November 30, 2027, plus four option years extending through November 30, 2031. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment to perform visual inspections, operational drop tests, and battery replacements in accordance with VA policy and NFPA 80 standards.
