This contract clause prohibits the contractor from engaging in any racially discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) activities during contract performance. The contractor must provide full access to records and reports to the Contracting Officer for compliance verification. Noncompliance may result in contract cancellation, termination, or suspension, and the contractor could be declared ineligible for future government contracts. The contractor is also required to report any subcontractor conduct that may violate the clause and take remedial actions as directed. The clause must be included in all subcontracts, except those performed outside the United States.

The Dayton VA Medical Center requires a contractor to install a medical air compressor and piping to support seven new EndoDry cabinets in its Digestive/Endoscopy and Operating/Surgery sections. The work must be performed at the Dayton VA Medical Center at 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio, in Buildings 330 and 310.
