This project involves replacing fire hydrants, isolation valves, and associated system components, as well as adding new isolation valves, at the Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The work must meet project specifications and applicable codes, and includes testing new components and cleaning affected water system sections. The opportunity is set aside for SDVOSB/VOSB small businesses that must be certified in the SBA database and comply with specific SBA regulations, including the nonmanufacturer rule and limitations on subcontracting. Joint ventures may be eligible if requirements are met, and misrepresentation of status can result in debarment. All responsible and eligible sources may submit a proposal for consideration.
