The Service Agreement for the MCC 7500E dispatch console and radio system is critical to supporting the operational needs of Chillicothe VAMC. This agreement ensures the continued provision of state-of-the-art secure communication systems, enabling reliable and seamless IP-based connectivity to the Ohio MARCS Radio System and ASTRO 25 infrastructure. The proposed service contract from Motorola involves providing "Advanced Plus" and Network update services for the ASTRO® 25 infrastructure of the Chillicothe VA. These services are designed to support and maintain critical radio communications systems, ensuring optimal functionality and security. Key elements include: ASTRO System Monitoring: Real-time network and security monitoring. Remote Technical Support: Expert consultation for issue diagnosis and resolution. Network Hardware Repair and Replacement: Advanced and field replacement units to minimize downtime. Remote Security Updates: Deployment of validated updates to ensure compatibility and security. On-Site Infrastructure Response: Diagnostics and repairs by qualified technicians. Annual Preventative Maintenance: Routine hands-on equipment examinations. Network Updates: Regular software and hardware updates to maintain compatibility and functionality. The contract spans from December 2025 to November 2030, including an annual maintenance plan to ensure the Chillicothe VA Police Department s communications systems operate efficiently and securely.
