This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information from qualified vendors with special interest relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 221310, Water Supply and Irrigation Systems. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This Sources Sought does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Vendor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. Requirement: Network Contracting Office VISN 10 has a requirement for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Chillicothe to identify potential sources capable of providing potable water to 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio, 45601. Average usage is estimated at one-hundred-fifteen thousand (115,000) gallons per day with a maximum of five (5) million gallons per month. The Contractor shall operate and maintain its Water System in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, permits and regulations promulgated by any and all governmental authorities having jurisdiction. Award will be made based upon a comparative evaluation of quotes in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR 13. The expectation is to award a five (5) year ordering agreement/ Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Interested vendors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.
