This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the responsibilities and deliverables of a Third-Party Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) for the modernization of elevators at Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The inspector will ensure full compliance with ASME A17.1, VA Directive 1028, NFPA 70, NFPA 72, ADA, and all applicable VA safety standards. The QEI will conduct performance testing, final acceptance inspections to certify and sign off the elevators approving that they meet all required standards before entering service.
