Kettles VA Medical Center, Ann Arbor, MI, 48105 Drying Cabinet for Medical Instruments Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-03 effective February 23, 2024. This solicitation is being conducted utilizing full and open competition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. with a small business size standard of 800 Employees. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment and Supplies. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office Central, Network Contracting Office 10, 24 Frank Lloyd Wright, Ann Arbor, MI, 48105 is seeking to purchase two (2) new medical instrument drying cabinets for the Lieutenant Colonel Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center. All interested and qualified companies shall provide quotations for the following. Any delivery/freight charges shall be incorporated into the unit price for the drying cabinets, or not exceed $250.00 if listed as a separate line item. Equivalent drying cabinets must meet the following requirements: 1. Have full glass doors for rapid visual inspection of stored items. 2. Use indirect UV air treatment to quickly dry instruments, equipment, and general items. 3. Cabinets provide a controlled storage environment with HEPA H14 filtered air flow. 4. 8 stainless steel shelves, removable, adjustable with a total capacity up to 16 DIN 1/1 trays; allows custom configuration. 5. Digital passcode protected control panel with LED display to set working temperature and duration. 6.
