The US Dept of Veterans Affairs and VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System are contemplating a contract for construction services to upgrade the facilities television (TV) infrastructure for the new COM3000 system. COM3000 is a Commercial Satellite Video Management System for Lodging and Institutions. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following infrastructure improvements: provide power for TV equipment, install all cabling and equipment needed for COM3000 system affecting approximately 85 TV units, fiber optic installed to each COM3000 switch, CAT 6A installed from distribution switch to each TV. All work to be completed at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System Ft Wayne Campus, 2121 Lake Ave, Ft Wayne, IN 46805. Per FAR 36.204(c) the magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The period of performance is estimated to be 180 days. This is not a solicitation. The solicitation is expected to be issued on SAM.gov on or about March 8, 2024.
