Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement Structural Heart and Medical Imaging Software Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, Richard L. Roudebush (RLR) VA Medical Center (VAMC) intends to negotiate an open market sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source for the Structural Heart, and Medical Imaging Software package. The associated NAICS code for this is 541511. The vendor will be Esaote North America, Inc., 11907 Exit Five Parkway, Fishers, IN 46037-7939. Description of Equipment or Supplies: The Indianapolis VAMC is requesting Structural Heart and Medical Imaging Software. The Aortic Root program provides an efficient, intuitive, and reliable workflow for pre-operative planning for the Transcatheter Valve Implantation and repair procedures. The workflow assistant guides the user through a three-step image preparation to arrive at the measurement pallet. The software is consistent with VA policies and standards, including but not limited to; VA Handbook 6102 and 6500, VA Directives 6004, 6513, and 6517; and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards, including Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS). This software has a FITARA approval. The 3mensio Workstation contains two components; Structural Heart and Vascular software package includes: - 3ME400s - 3mensio Base Module Subscription Quantity of 1 - 3ME410s - 3mensio Aortic Root Subscription Quantity of 1 - 3ME420s - 3mensio Mitral Valve Subscription Quantity of 1 - 3ME400FLs Floating License Seat for 3mensio Base Module Subscription Quantity of 2 - 3ME410FLs Aortic Root Floating License Seat Subscription Quantity of 1 - 3ME420FLs Mitral Valve Floating License Seat Subscription Quantity of 1 The estimated cost is $42,000.00. A firm fixed price contract with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
