Proper storage of sterile supplies helps maintain their cleanliness and avoid the need to repeat autoclaving or other sterilization processes. Medical sterile storage cabinets can also reliably transport medical instruments and supplies without contamination. Medical facilities often have limited or outdated space. Optimizing storage space is a primary consideration when selecting a storage cabinet. Surgical instrument storage cabinets and shelves are easy to organize with labels, names, and numbering systems, facilitating better equipment tracking and faster retrieval. 4. Scope: This storage cabinet will be used in SPS department to store our instrument in the prep and pack area. We currently have cabinets that are damaged and have accumulated rust over time. We don't have enough storage for all our instruments and this will help us have plenty of storage, organize all of our instruments, and make it easier for our Techs when they are assembling sets. 5. Specific Tasks. 76 height cabinet without the sloped top, 82 height with the sloped top; the sloped top will prevent items from being incorrectly stored on top of the cabinet, preventing loss of instruments or other items. The height allows for storage of more equipment and will fit in all storage areas for the cabinet in SPS and the clinic. Pegboard which will allow for the accurate and adjustable storage of sterilized instruments. Stainless steel cabinet with drawers will lengthen the life of the cabinets by preventing rust and deterioration. (8) 5 drawers which will allow for optimal storage of instruments with the drawer divider system. Extend instrument life by securing and organized instruments so they are less likely to be damaged during processing and transportation. These containers will be used to sterilize instruments.
