Respondents will not be notified of the results of this synopsis. Add Card Readers - Construction Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to add HID card readers which will require the modification/upgrade of doors and hardware in Buildings 1, 2, 5, and 17 as listed in the specifications and drawings. The primary monitoring shall occur at the VA Police room 101 in Building 1 at the Fort Wayne Campus and the VA Police Dispatch at the Marion Campus. The system shall have a push button to secure/unsecure all exterior doors that can only be accessed by the VA police. All work is to be completed at the VA- Northern Indiana Health Care (VANIHCS) Fort Wayne Campus, 2121 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Work is to be completed within 240 calendar days from the notice to proceed. This project will be conducted in phases to mitigate interruptions in patient care and facility accessibility in accordance with VA provided drawings and specifications. The VA s goal is to get fair and reasonable pricing. Therefore, we are soliciting full and open socio-economic groups to determine the appropriate set-aside necessary to fulfill the VANIHCS needs. To assist the VANIHCS in making an accurate determination, we must know your firm s interest. In order to be eligible, interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base at https://sam.gov. For firms claiming small business classification status, they must also be registered and certified through the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization data base, located at https://vetbiz.va.gov The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this potential acquisition is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. Interested parties responding to this Sources Sought Notice shall submit as much of the following information as possible: Company name and address, point of contact with phone number, email address and DUNS number. Proof of registration in the SAM and VA Vet Biz websites or intention of registration prior to submission of offers to a potential solicitation. If your firm has a history or is contemplating joining with a partner for this requirement, we ask that you detail that arrangement as well, to allow the government to make the most well-informed decision possible.
