This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement to inform potential offerors of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to advertise an Invitation For Bids (IFB) for Project 506-21-105 Facility Interior Signage Replacement at the LTC Charles S. Kettles Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) located in Ann Arbor, MI. An Invitation for Bid (IFB) is planned to be issued on or about January 8, 2024. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, and materials, equipment, and supervision as specified in drawings and specifications to complete this project. All work performed shall be fully documented by the Contractor. Construction shall be performed in compliance with the manufacturer s recommendations and applicable Codes and building standards. Work is scheduled to be performed during the normal daytime business hours of the medical center excluding federal holidays. This construction project will replace or enhance all interior signage at the LTC Charles S. Kettles VAMC. The intent is to drastically improve wayfinding, utilizing architectural features, technology, and overall sign replacement to enhance the experience when navigating the medical center. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with a small business size standard of $19 million. Magnitude of cost for this project is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract within 120 days from bid opening date. This acquisition is a Total set-aside for qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Only offers from verified SDVOSBs registered in the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov) at the time of proposal submission are eligible for consideration.
