Tonopen shall be considered equal if it has the following salient characteristics: This request covers the acquisition of Tonopen Avia, Model # ME23-0650. The contractor is responsible for the delivery of requested handheld tonometer and any compatible accessories. The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is requesting the delivery of ten (10) Tonopen Avia s. We are requesting brand name or equal and have provided the characteristics of the requested Tonometer below under specific tasks. We request that the contractor be capable of providing Tonometer s that can either meet or exceed the salient characteristics of the requested type. We are requesting consideration to replace these items with the same model recently purchased and deployed in other areas. The contractor shall provide the delivery of the requested Tonopens. In this section, salient characteristics are listed for the parent components of this request.
