NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE R.W. Martin Company 4675 Mogadore Road Kent, OH 44240 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), VISN 10 Contracting Activity intends to negotiate on a single source basis with the R.W. Martin Company under the authority of FAR 13.106 1(b)(1)(i) Soliciting From a Single Source.  The R.W. Martin Company designed the configuration of the laundry plant at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center, which now requires new laundry slings and trolleys to replace the existing components of the laundry plant s rail system manufactured by Kannegiesser Etech. Only R.W. Martin Company possess the data and configurations to order, and have manufactured, the laundry slings and trolleys which require designs unique to the specifications of the laundry plant at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. Interested parties may identify in writing their interest and capability to respond.  Responses must be received by no later than 10:00 a.m. EST on 1 February 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. If the VHA identifies no other capable sources by the aforementioned date and time, a firm fixed price purchase order will be issued to the R.W. Martin Company.
