RFQ 36C25023Q0174 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1. Question: What are the manpower requirements or the scope of work? Answer: Please see Statement of Work. 2. Question: Has there been a performance work statement prepared? Answer: Yes, please see answer to question #1. 3. Question: Who is the incumbent?  Answer: The incumbent is Servexo Protective Service. 4. Question: What was the previously awarded amount? Answer: The award amount for base, plus (4), option year (1) was $924,104.57. 5. Question: Will the Government consider using Guard II rates for this effort? Answer: Yes, the Government will consider using Security Guard II rates for this effort. Please see the revised 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Order Commercial Products and Commercial Services (section 52.222-42) attached below. 6. Question: Does the incumbent currently have the contract fully staffed? If not, what are the differences? Answer: Yes, the current incumbent has the contract fully staffed. 7. Question: Does the incumbent's staff meet the medical and training requirements of this solicitation? If not, what are the differences? Answer: Yes, the incumbent s staff meet the medical and training requirements of this solicitation. 8. Question: SOW 4.b.vii-ix indicates that a physical (including vision and hearing), tuberculosis testing, drug screen, and psychological test is required for each guard. In the prior contract, none of these are required. In our opinion, this seems excessive for a six-month contract. Can the government please confirm that they want these tests performed before guards can be assigned to the contract? Answer: Physical and psychological will not be required. TB test and drug screen, at no cost to the government, will be required 9. Question: If a psychological examination is required and since they vary widely in price, which type of psychological exam is required (i.e., MMPI-2 or CPI, etc.)? [NOTE: We could not find any mention of a psychological exam in the Federal Personnel Manual Chapter 330 that is referenced in SOW 4.b.ix. Answer: This will not be required. 10. Question: Is the Government able to waive the Security License requirement for the Solicitation? Answer: No, the Government is not able to waive the Security License requirement for the Solicitation.
