The purpose of the Solicitation Amendment is to formally respond to vendor questions that were sent in prior to the deadline. Question - From all of our previous experiences, the VA's elevator maintenance contractor will provide the weights and equipment for the testing while we conduct the inspection/witness. Will this be the case for this RFQ? Answer - We do not have the weights, equipment or manpower to support this testing. My intention is for the vendor to provide 100% of the labor and materials to conduct the test.
