This solicitation amendment is to answer questions from industry. QUESTION 1: We also were provided roof access today - where we discovered that there are rooftop anchors situated every 10-20ft apart around the perimeter of the building. Our guide confirmed that they have not been inspected for the last 10 years - so they will all need re-tested, and we will need proof of this work being done prior to the work start. Being a physical part of the hospital's property - I would assume that would be their responsibility to pay for the inspections/testing. Can we please confirm that this will be done by the hospital prior to March, or do we need to arrange this work ourselves and factor it into our bid? ANSWER 1: VA will have the tie offs inspected/tested separately for the Main Building and this will be done before March 2023. However, the contractor still has to use a lift to clean the Energy Center since it has zero (0) tie offs.
