The 2237 for this procurement is 541-23-3-5746-0091 Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use/Estimated Amount: Department of Veterans Affairs is requesting VISN 10 Contracting Office to enter a sole source procurement with MEPVET, LLC, a SDVOSB Business, to provide the Trane s CenTraVac® Compressor renewal service. Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used: CO intends to award IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Exclusive licensing, to MEPVET LLC because it must be installed by the manufacturer standards with the use of OEM parts, tools, and materials ONLY. All maintenance inspections and repairs must be done with OEM parts, tools, materials, and software to meet specific capabilities and specifications of the above stated equipment. Description of market research conducted and results or statement why it was not conducted: FAR 13.106-1- VIP queried using NAICS Code 238220 and MEPVET LLC identified no other VOSB or SDVOSB contractors in the state of Ohio that are third party contractors associated with MEPVET LLC. Third party vendors do not have access to OEM parts. Vendor must exhibit and be authorized the ability to complete all operational modifications according and under manufacturer specifications.
