The 2237 for this procurement is 541-23-2-575-0062 Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use/Estimated Amount: This activity proposes to solicit with Getinge USA Sales, LLC a large business using sole source procurement procedures under NAICS Code 339113 for a multi-year contract to provide preventative maintenance for the CARDIOHELP, CARDIOPULMARY UNIT, MOBILE, Serial Number (SN): 90412548, VA ID #MX1763595 CARDIOHELP, CARDIOPULMARY UNIT, MOBILE, SN: 90410760, VA ID # EE121198 for the Cleveland VA Medical Contract. The Contract will be a Base Year with Three One Year Options. The Base Year POP will be 2-1-2023 through 1-31-2024. Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used: Getinge USA Sales, LLC holds proprietary rights to equipment and software, the system must be maintained by a Getinge USA Sales, LLC authorized dealer. The equipment must be repaired, maintained annually, and inspected per manufacturer standards with the use of OEM parts, tools, and materials ONLY. It is essential to the operations of the Medical Center that this equipment be maintained, inspected, and repaired properly and in a timely manner to ensure patient care/safety is not compromised. Therefore, only certified and trained field service engineers can provide this type of training to the Cleveland VA Medical Center. Description of market research conducted and results or statement why it was not conducted: FAR 13.106-1-VIP was queried under NAICS Code 339113 and no SDVOSB and VOSB contractors were identified. Getinge USA Sales, LLC holds proprietary rights to all software, upgrades, and components to be used with the above system, and because of this no third-party contractors can provide this specific type of training.
