PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project Project 610-23-517 Repair Loading Docks, Bldg. 174 It is the intention of the VA- Northern Indiana Health Care Marion Campus to solicit bids for the following: Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to remove and replace buildings 174 loading docks. This will include Coiling/Roll-Up Doors, Automatic Door openers, Air curtain controls, Dock Levelers and all associated components and controls, Man doors and hardware, LED dock lights, vinyl bumper pads/weather stripping and automatic dock locks with stop lights. This work will also include signage and painting per drawings and specifications. All work to be completed at the VA- Northern Indiana Health Care Marion Campus, 1700 E. 38th. Street, Marion, IN 46953. Work to be completed within one hundred and twenty (90) calendar days from notice to proceed. Justification of Work: This project is designed for the upgrade of building 174 loading docks that have exceeded their useful life cycle at the Marion VA. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial & Institutional Building Construction. Contractors with a standard size of $45M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue an IFB on or about 15 June 2023 via www.sam.gov . A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, and the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
