PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project Project 610-22-534 Replace Roofs Bldgs 32, 33 and 34: It is the intention of the Northern IN VA Medical Center (Marion Campus) to solicit bids for the following: Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to demolish and replace the roofs, soffit, fascia, gutters, and down spouts, and repair the tuck points for chimneys on buildings 32, 33, and 34. All work to be completed at the VA- Northern Indiana Health Care Marion Campus, 1700 E. 38th. Street, Marion, IN 46953. Work to be completed within 120 calendar days from notice to proceed. Justification of Work: The main goal of this project is to replace the roofs that have exceeded their life cycle at the Marion, IN VA Campus. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. with a standard size of $39.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue an IFB on or about 7 Nov 2022 via www.sam.gov . A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, and the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
