This is a pre-solicitation announcement for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, Ohio, 44106. Network Contracting Office 10 (NCO 10) intends to solicit a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued on the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://beta.sam.gov on or about April 5, 2022, for Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance Services for the VAMC Medical Center, Cleveland, OH 44106. This announcement is a Total Small Business Set-aside. The performance period will consist of one twelve-month base period, and four 12-month option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 621910, Ambulance Services and size standard is $16.5 million. The government intends to award a Fixed Price Type contract to begin in July 2022. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited electronic medium, and the VA will provide no hard copies. The solicitation, consisting of various proposal documents, statement of work, and amendments, will only be available for download at no charge at https://beta.sam.gov. All potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the beta.SAM website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. No other site shall be used to obtain these documents. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the following: SAM database at https://sam.gov/SAM/ Veteran Owned Small Businesses must be registered and verified in VetBiz. Vendors can access VetBiz at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ No other information regarding scope, etc., is available until issuance of the solicitation.
