The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Aleda E. Lutz, VA Medical Center Saginaw (AELVAMC), 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, MI. 48602 has a need for Medical Physicist radiological inspection services. There is a need for quarterly review to maintain our compliance with the NHPP license. This includes safety audits, NRC compliance, including updated regulations, and surveys showing exposure to the public in relationship to our department location. Annually, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, Dental, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine machines need be tested to meet ACR, AAPM, TJC, NHPP and NRC requirements. This procurement will be solicited under Title 38 US 8153 and utilizing FAR parts 12 and 13. The procurement will be for a 12-month base year with four option year renewals. NAICS Code 621111, Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists), applies with a size standard of $12.0 million. The solicitation document will be available on or after September 23, 2022, with a quote due date of October 7, 2022, by 12pm (Eastern).
