This solicitation amendment is to answer questions from industry and extend the deadline for quote responses. The solicitation submission deadline is hereby extended to 9/6/22, submissions shall be received via email no later than 13:30 (1:30PM EST). Questions and Answers: What type of weekly carpet cleaning are you looking for? Are you looking to have weekly wet carpet cleaning? Dry carpet clean w/ intense spot clean ie.. gum, water stains etc. Current plan is to have recurring cleaning weekly to ensure all areas identified in the Statement of Work are cleaned 2x per year. Medical center staff to oversee and sign off on all spaces to ensure all is performed in accordance with the Statement of Work. Carpet can be wet, or low moisture encapsulation cleaned per the SOW, any other methods of cleaning must be approved by the EMS department manager prior to start of cleaning. Carpet in some areas may be more soiled/stained than others, more than one method may be needed per the situation. Or are you looking for 2x a year deep cleaning with all the above? VAMC is requesting weekly cleaning to ensure that all carpet is cleaned 2x per year in accordance with the Statement of Work. How many offices and floors and/or estimated square footage?
