This solicitation amendment is to answer questions from industry. 1.Per the statement: "List of linen items to be supplied by the contractor and shall be purchased from GSA/FSS approved vendors." Can you confirm if the expectation is for all line supplies/items listed in the PWS are to be purchased from a GSA/FSS vendor? If we have our own manufacturer in which we purchase these items or have in our stock that matches the technical specification of the listed items, would that be sufficient? Yes, the linen items need to be supplied by the vendor that s GSA/FSS approved. 2.Are the estimated quantities true to their numbers or will they fluctuate greatly? Are these estimates based on demand or historical numbers? Can you provide more input on what to expect from a demand standpoint? These are estimates based on historical numbers with patient census. It can fluctuate due to demand of patient census and needs of the medical center (pandemic, flu season, etc.) 3. Are you open to a different solution that will allow for all items to be contractor-owned? Yes 4. Some items are listed by the pound and some by quantity, would it be accepted if we quote all items per each item rather than by the pound? No, the clins are specifically stating items that are each, the LB items are items that need laundered . Which has customarily been charged per pound. 5. When is the anticipated award date?
