The following amendment is to answer questions posed by industry for this requirement. Please confirm the response date. Is it March 16th or 17th at 1330hrs EST? (Page 28 of 32 notes March 16th) The Close Date for this requirement is 3/17/2022 by 13:30 (1:30 EST) Buildings 330, 340, 341, 320, 302, 322, 310, 335, 410, 350 Do all 10 of these buildings have ample space in their Bio-Hazard rooms to store at least one service cart to place sharps containers on? If not, how many building do have space? Some buildings would depend on the size of the cart Can the mail-in and mail-back 3-gallon and 8-gallon sharps container portion of this contract for the Springfield, Richmond, Lima, and Middletown CBOC's be disposable sharps containers instead of reusable containers? Is there a cost savings for disposable vs reusable ? Can you provide historical information as to number and sizes of sharps containers exchanged per year and total weight disposed? FY 21 3924 lbs total 2134 - 3 gal, 790 - 8 gal, 174 - 19 gal How many of the estimated 300 each 8-gallon sharps containers are require to be placed into a step on dolly to open the lid?
