Notice for Patient Lodging services at the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located in Ann Arbor, MI. The contractor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to provide lodging for eligible Veterans in need of treatment at the Ann Arbor VAMC. The accommodations will be paid for by the Ann Arbor VAMC for those eligible Veterans who may have to travel long distances the day before or the day after a scheduled appointment. Only patients normally discharged to their home will be considered for lodging. Hotel/motel shall be located within a ten (10) mile radius of the Ann Arbor VAMC. See attached Statement of Work for additional detailed requirements. The anticipated NAICS code for this requirement is 721110. The period of performance is 5 years anticipated to begin February 1, 2022 – January 31, 2027. This Sources Sought Notice is intended to locate any business capable of performance. Interested firms shall include in their submission: A brief capability statement detailing the specific ability to meet the requirement as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) DUNS number Business size/type This is not a Request for Quotation and quotes shall not be reviewed at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the contractor as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
