Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 4 of 4 Presolicitation Notice *=Required Field Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 4 This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement to inform potential offerors of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to advertise for bids the project entitled Replace Concrete and Waterproofing at Red Entrance Project No. 553-21-201 to be accomplished at the John D. Dingell Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) located in Detroit, MI. An Invitation for Bid (IFB) is planned to be issued on or about July 20, 2022. The project s general scope of work is to furnish all necessary labor, tools, miscellaneous materials, equipment, and supervision as specified in drawings and specifications to remove and replace existing concrete surface pavement, asphalt pavement, curbs, island, wall, and existing waterproofing, and all other necessary resources to accomplish the aforementioned work. The period of performance for the project is One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Complete details of the project requirements will be provided via issuance of the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 237310, Highway, Street and Bridge Construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. Magnitude of cost for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract within 120 days from bid opening date. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Only offers from verified SDVOSB s registered in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database (https://vetbiz.va.gov) at the time of offer submission shall be deemed responsive. All non-responsive bids shall be rejected and ineligible for award. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers.
