This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement to inform potential offerors of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to advertise for bids the project entitled Repair Roads, Sidewalks, and Parking Areas ... This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement to inform potential offerors of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to advertise for bids the project entitled Repair Roads, Sidewalks, and Parking Areas Project No. 515-21-110 to be accomplished at the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) located in Battle Creek, MI. An Invitation for Bid (IFB) is planned to be issued on or about January 1, 2022. The project s general scope of work is to furnish all necessary labor, tools, miscellaneous materials, equipment, and supervision as specified in drawings and specifications for the repair of the main roadway (Armstrong Rd.) into the station which is under the Battle Creek VAMC authority. This project will also resurface Parking Lot L and Parking Lot J and repair large sections of sidewalk identified as potential slip trip and fall hazards, mill and resurface station roadways, and install or replace various sidewalks located at the Battle Creek, MI VAMC, and all other necessary resources to accomplish the following work. The period of performance for the project is Two Hundred Eighty (280) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Complete details of the project requirements will be provided via issuance of the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. Magnitude of cost for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract within 120 days from bid opening date. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
