Page 2 of 2 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project Project 610-20-102 Correct Water Infiltration: It is the intention of the Northern IN VA Medical Center (Marion Campus) to solicit bids for the following: Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to provide buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 15, 16, 17, 124 with new roofs thus mitigate any water infiltration issues at specified buildings. Work to include but not limited new roofing, windows, brick repair/replacement. An asbestos survey has been completed. The results show no asbestos-containing materials were detected. All work to be completed at the VA- Northern Indiana Health Care Marion Campus, 1700 E. 38th. Street, Marion, IN 46953. Work to be completed within 260 calendar days from notice to proceed. Justification of Work: The main goal of this project is to provide several campus buildings with new roofs thus mitigate any water infiltration issues at specified buildings. at the Marion VA This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. with a standard size of $39.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue an IFB on or about 9 March 2022 via www.sam.gov . A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, and the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
